A single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device for transporting, preserving and archiving histological specimens, which will undergo specific treatments in the workflow of an anatomical pathology laboratory.
The device has a special space in which the sample identification label can be applied. Device for research and diagnostic purposes, for professional use only, in laboratories, outpatient clinics, medical surgical facilities and ORs. For its manual and automatic use as such by experienced and qualified operators. Device only used in combination with the T-Filler automatic dosing machine as follows:
• Container for transporting anatomical specimens, film sealed and closed with the transparent cover
• Container for transporting anatomical specimens, filled with formalin at a ratio of 1:10, film sealed and closed with a transparent cover
• Container for transporting anatomical specimens, film sealed and closed with modified atmosphere, with transparent cover
The device can be used for specimen archiving using the white cover, with safety closure, or, in the presence of the T-Filler device in pathological anatomy, the bucket can be film sealed anew.
The device is single-use. Once it has reached its end-of-life it must be disposed of; it is not recyclable.
